Watertown Dog Park Project
|

Watertown, NY has approximately 2,000 registered dog owners who
currently have no designated area to take their beloved furry friends.
Many dog owners take the chance of letting their dogs run off-leash in
public areas ignoring current leash laws.
A small group of loving dog owners has set forth on a mission to have a
dog park built in Watertown. The Watertown Dog Park Project Team
would like to create a safe space where dogs and their owners can play
and interact with others.
The city of Watertown has set aside a fund to collect donations through
the City Comptroller’s office for this off-leash park; however, they have
charged the community with the task of raising money to build it.
The Watertown Dog Park Project Team would like to invite you to help
this community build something that will be enjoyed by dogs and their
owners for generations. At this time they have a few local businesses
that have donated labor and materials at cost. This is a huge deal, but
they still need to raise approximately $30,000 to have the dog park that
they envision. Anyone who makes a major donation of $1000 or more
will have their name or business name featured on signage at the dog
park. Obviously the larger the donation, the larger the signage will
be. Anyone able to donate to this project will gain favor in the eyes of
all local dog owners.
Please consider donating today so that we can have a safe place for
dogs and their owners to play!!!
Donations to this dog park project are tax deductible!
Please make checks payable to “City of Watertown” and
make sure to earmark it “DOG PARK PROJECT”.
Send all donations to:
