If you have a pet that is fearful of or aggressive towards children, please let your sitter know so they can make sure your pet(s) as comfortable as possible during visits. We strive to put your pet's needs first and never want to put anyone, including your beloved pet, in danger.

Meet the Pet Sitters
Comfy Cozy Critters is individually owned and operated by Melissa L. Ordway and Stacey L. Scott. Each sitter covers specific areas in Northern Oswego County and Jefferson County. Our Sitters are dedicated to providing pet owners and their pets with the highest standard of pet care available. Our sitters are bonded and insured and will provide references upon request. Pet owners can have piece of mind knowing that our sitters believe your pet's physical and emotional well being should be first and foremost.

Melissa L. Ordway - Owner/Sitter - Sandy Creek Office
Melissa L. Ordway attended The Pennsylvania State University. While there she
focused on pre-veterinary and agricultural courses. She graduated with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Bioscience in May, 2000. Melissa has
worked on several university and commercial dairy farms. She has also worked
at several veterinary clinics as a licensed and certified veterinary technician
including an emergency clinic and a mixed animal day practice.
In August, 2006 Melissa and her husband moved to New York. Melissa worked
as a veterinary technician in Watertown, NY until the birth of her first son in April,
2007. She recently had another baby boy the beginning of November 2009.
Melissa’s animal family consists of a red Doberman, Higgins and five cats -
Buddy, Loafer, Peanut, Wiley and Butters. She is a board member of the North
Country Kennel Club and dabbles in obedience and rally training with Higgins.
Melissa enjoys working with people and their animals and seeing the amazing
bonds between them.
Melissa provides services to areas south of Watertown including Sandy Creek,
Pulaski, Adams, Henderson, Sackets Harbor, and surrounding areas.


Stacey L. Scott - Owner /Sitter - Watertown Office
Stacey L. Scott attended Jefferson Community College and received an AS
degree in Business Administration in 2005. Stacey worked at the North Country
Animal Health Center in Watertown as Kennel Manager until the birth of her
daughter in May, 2008. While there she had the opportunity to gain a vast amount
of experience with many different pets including dogs, cats, birds, ferrets,
snakes and rabbits.
Stacey resides in Watertown with her husband, daughter and new baby boy.
Stacey's animal family consists of a German shepherd mix -Thunder; two ferrets
- Imaus and Athena; and three Kitties - Luna, Midnight, and Pinocchio.
Stacey provides services to Watertown, and areas north including Calcium, Black
River, Brownville, Evans Mills and surrounding areas.



Jessica Sibley - Sitter - Watertown Office
Jessica graduated from SUNY Canton in 2004 with an AAS in Veterinary Science
Technology. While at Canton she was a member of VETA (Veterinary Technician
Association), volunteered at the local SPCA, and helped to tutor other students.
She is currently working as a licensed veterinary technician and the volunteer
coordinator at North Country Animal Health Center in Watertown.
Her pets include her cats - Charlie and Kasey and a Terrier Mix - Tramp. She also
has two red-ear slider turtles and two rats. Jessica shares her home with her
husband and daughter.
Jessica provides occasional services to the Philadelphia area.
